ColourPop Haul + Shipping & Customs Info

ColourPop has been one of those brands that for the past year or so I've been longing to try. And towards the last half of 2016 they began shipping to the UK. Great. But I was uhming and ahhing for such a long time due to the high shipping costs and the potential of having a disgustingly large customs charge delivered through my door. 

However fast forward to a couple of days after Christmas and I just decided to go for it. I'd heard a ridiculous number of people raving of multiple products from ColourPop and after months of holding off I picked out my favourite shades and placed my order. In total, the delivery took a total of roughly two weeks, arriving nicely packaged with plenty of padding to prevent the powder products from smashing.

Christmas. The season well and truly made for that bold red lip. And of course I'm one of those girls you'll find walking down the street rocking that classic red lip. Whilst I'll wear red lipstick at practically any point of the year, give or take a few days in December and it's by far my go-to choice! Especially if you're wearing quite a dark outfit, a red lip can seriously help spruce your entire look, and it makes a statement. I'm not afraid when it comes to my lips, I'll happily make a statement.

Battle of the Liquid Lipsticks

Over the last few years it's safe to say that makeup brands have branched out from the usual lipsticks and lip glosses into many other alternatives such as lip crayons and lip laquers. Over I'd say the past year, something that I've seen many more brands releasing are their own "liquid lipsticks", and being the lip product obsessed girl I am, I obviously knew I had to try some. Two that most certainly caught my attention were the L'Oreal L'Extraordinaire liquid lipsticks and the Maybelline Colorsensational Elixir's, which are also marketed as liquid lipsticks too!
