Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Lips // Review

First of all, sorry for the lack of posts in May. I've been quite busy this month with finishing university and starting my new job! However now that I'm off for four months, I have plenty of time for blogging!

Anyway, if you saw my most recent haul, then you may remember I picked up one of these Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Lips from Boots. They've been out for a few months now and I'm sure you've probably seen some other reviews here and there but I thought after using this product quite a bit over the last few weeks, I would be able to give a fair and honest review to you. I only picked up one as I don't like purchasing more than one of a product I'm not 100% sure I'll like and in this case I chose Capella, which is a bright pink shade with a hint of purple.

My Biggest Blogging Mistakes!

As I've nearly been blogging for a total of four months now, I started to reflect upon everything I've achieved, but along with that I also began to think about all of my personal blogging mistakes. Now I'm not saying that it's a mistake if you do any of these yourself, but they just happen to be things that didn't really work for me or benefit my blog in any way. I am however glad I have made these mistakes, as like you've probably heard, you learn from your mistakes.

 

 

This may be useful for any of you newbie bloggers, to avoid making some of these mistakes early on, but for any of you current bloggers, maybe you can in some way relate to this post, whether you've been blogging 1 week or 5 years.

In the recent cold weather, I've found myself struggling to cope with my worsening dry skin, especially as before this year I've never had any major problems with my skin in terms of dryness. I will admit that I'm one of those people who has a very limited skincare routine, simply because I know very little about skincare products and the fact that most of the time, I actually can't be bothered! Also I prefer buying more makeup products as you can 100% see the effect it has on your skin, but during the last few months, my face makeup started to look terrible due to the increasingly worsening dry patches on my skin...so I had to go and try something new!

Review // Maybelline's Better Skin Foundation

 

So looking at this photo you may be wondering why I have a tester instead of a normal bottle of foundation. I didn't steal it from the store just in case you were wondering; I have this because recently Maybelline were giving away free samples of their new foundation online. So because I'd been wanting to try this for a while, I took this as a chance to test it out and see if I should actually buy the full size. And I'm so glad I did because I hate it!!
