A Coat Obsession

I don't know about you, but over these past few months I've had an unhealthy obsession with coats. I've never usually been one to obsess over coats, but this season they seem to have been such a big fashion trend, with new styles of coats entering stores. Coats seem to be the only thing I think about purchasing recently.

 

I scoured both ASOS and Topshop and these were some of my favourites on both sites! Personally I'm a lover of long, oversized, classic coats, which I think you'll be able to tell by from picks.

 

What I Got For My 20th Birthday!

 

 

As you're probably unaware, this Saturday I celebrated my 20th birthday! It's absolutely crazy to think that I'm no longer a teen and even though I'm in no way old, I just feel so much older now! How weird is that??

 

Although I know some people don't really like reading these sorts of posts, I personally love seeing what other people received for their birthday (or Christmas), so as this is my first birthday where I've been blogging, this seems as though the perfect opportunity to write this post. I also want to state that I am in no way bragging about the things that I received, as I do understand that I'm very fortunate and am thankful for everything that was given to me.

Blogging Tips: What I've Learnt From Blogging

First of all I want to say grab a drink, this is going to be a long post. I want to state that in no way would I consider myself to run a successful blog, but I did one of these types of posts about half a year ago and it got some great feedback, as well as the fact that it was my most popular post! I do also feel that these things I've learnt would be beneficial for any blogger, whether you're just planning to start a blog or you've been blogging for years. Also all views stated within this post are completely my own and are in no way right or wrong.

As I understand that this is a very long post, I've split it into smaller sections, so if you want, you can simply find a particular area to read about rather than the whole post.

FashionFriday #1 // That Cool Autumn Breeze

 

Happy Friday everyone! I've decided to add a new fashion segment to my blog called FashionFriday, where I'll be posting a new OOTD every Friday. I would love to hear your thoughts about this and any particular outfits that you would be interested in seeing in the future.

 

For today, my outfit is pretty casual (and affordable!) This is something that I would commonly wear on a cool Autumn day, which will probably become more unlikely as it seems to be getting much colder here in England, but for the time being, I may be able to occasionally pull this off!

When it comes to buying beauty products, I am most certainly one of those people who will scour the Internet in search of reviews to see if I should actually purchase that product. Although this generally works to my benefit, there are still those times where some products that others rave about, I end up absolutely hating. I will however mention that most of these products listed here were bought on my initiative...possibly showing that I should not trust my own opinion!
