JORD Wood Watch + Giveaway! | Frankie 35

Until this past year, I'd personally never been a massive watch fan. I'm that one person who would rather check her phone rather than use a watch to check the time, meaning that I never quite found a use for them. However, throughout the last six months I've discovered a new found love for watches, and whilst I may not wear them completely for the practical purpose, watches for me are a great accessory to add a little more detail to your outfit.

So recently the lovely people from JORD contacted me in regards to their wooden watches. I know what you're probably thinking...a wooden watch? And honestly I was a little apprehensive at first. But I'm always one for out trying new and different things, particularly when it comes to fashion, so I jumped at the chance to get one of these unique watches and I'm pretty glad I did!

Twas The Night Before Christmas | A Reflection Of Blogmas

Well we're here! Christmas Eve! It's crazy how quickly Christmas comes around as you get older. I can remember being a kid and the feeling as though I was waiting for months and months for the day to finally come around; in all actuality I was waiting that long! But December, like the rest of 2016 has well and truly flown on by.

And for one little moment I can be proud of myself, as for the first time since starting my blog back in 2013 I have completed Blogmas! Blogmas was my way of getting back into blogging. It's safe to say that to a large degree I had abandoned by blog. Aside from the odd post here and there which I've been posting more frequently towards the end of this past year, the activity on my blog was basically, well nothing. And whilst Blogmas has had it's difficulties (I'll get into that in a moment), overall I've really enjoyed the whole experience. It's not only allowed me to further express my creativity on a platform which I have single-handedly built on my own (aside from a few helpful tips on the Internet), but I feel a greater part of the blogging community since doing it once more...and lets not get me started on how much I feel my photography skills have improved these past few weeks! Plus I've begun to have a greater appreciation for blogging and I'm really starting to enjoy it all over again!

And whilst I have greatly enjoyed good ol' Blogmas, it doesn't quite mean that I'll be keeping this up entirely. Although blogging more frequently is certainly on the agenda, seven days a week isn't going to be possible for me. Right now, in my current situation, I would like to assume that posting weekdays will be sufficient enough for me, especially when considering I also have my own YouTube channel and job to commit to as well...lets not even get started on full-time job hunting! So I think that would be the plan for me going ahead into 2017! As I've found with Blogmas, blogging during the weekends became more of a hindrance than anything else; being at work all day really didn't help with anything and towards the end, it became incredibly difficult to take photos and write posts...basically working in retail is a nightmare around Christmas and should be avoided at all costs (unless you need the money)!

Anyhow, tomorrow we'll all be waking up, the 25th of December, Christmas Day. Whether you're at home with loved ones or maybe working throughout the day (I commend you), I hope each and everyone of you have an absolutely incredible time.

Dream Places To Spend Christmas

One of the best things about Christmas for myself personally is to be able to spend an increased amount of time with family and friends. For me Christmas should always be spent at home - I don't feel as though it would feel quite the same or as festive elsewhere in the world, but with Christmas being a mere two days away, it got me questioning, if I could spend Christmas (or a portion of the lead up/New Year's) absolutely anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Now my two options are probably hardly surprising. As an extreme Disney fan, being able to spend at least a portion of the festive season in the Most Magical Place on Earth aka. Disney World would be a dream come true for me. The decorations that they place around each of the parks and resorts makes the already beautiful resort even prettier. And the additional Christmas shows and events that they have going on in the lead up to Christmas, including Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and Epcot's Holidays Around the World give me additional reasons to go and spend time in Disney doing things I've yet been able to do.

My second option, also a very common option, would be New York. Having only been to New York during May, I've been fortunate enough to experience the city in the heat of the summer (well, Spring...we were there during a heatwave)! And whilst I'm not a huge fan of the colder weather, there seems to be something incredibly magical about spending some part of December in New York. For me, I would love to be in the bustling city for New Years; watching the Ball Drop at Times Square, whilst the Christmas decorations are still out in full swing! However, the extremely large crowds might end up putting me off a little!

Where do you dream of spending your most magical Christmas?

The Perfect Makeup Choices For Christmas Day

In three days time, yes you heard me correctly, it will be Christmas! How this year has flown by so quickly I'll never know - just the fact that 2017 will be here in a little over a week and I feel as though 2016 started about two months ago is quite simply crazy to me. But heigh ho! As Christmas Day begins to roll around, one thing on my mind is sadly "what makeup will I choose to wear" and whilst I've been sporting much more festive makeup in recent weeks, I decided to pull out some of the items I could very likely be using on Christmas Day itself to show each and every one of you.

I've also filmed a Christmas makeup routine video which will be making an appearance on my YouTube channel tomorrow - so keep your eyes peeled! These products were all used in that video, so you'll be able to see a true representation of how everything really looks when all put together! But no spoilers today!

Sale Picks | Where I'll Be Looking During Boxing Day Sales

Okay, I know it's still a few days away and I'm totally skipping over Christmas day here, but one of my favourite things during this festive season, sad as it may sound, are the Boxing Day sales! Now I don't want Christmas day to simply whiz on by, after all it's one of my favourite days of the year, but I can't help but think about what I could be buying on Boxing Day for cheap!

However, I'm definitely not one to be going out to shop for the bargains in store; I can't stand the chaoticness of everyone crowded together in the same area trying to catch the best deals. Instead, like many do now, I choose to browse through the sales from the comfort of my own home, online. Although I strongly dislike that you're unable to truly tell how the product looks, feels, or whether it will fit you to a tee - there's always guaranteed to be something that just doesn't quite fit or looks completely different to the image on the site, I much prefer the relaxing feel to choosing my sale picks at home. Plus you pretty much have the full range of sale picks online...will stores really carry everything?!

A Classic Spotify Christmas Playlist

As a self-acclaimed Christmas freak, the one thing that will always get me into the Christmassy mood is no doubt Christmas music. As soon as I hear that first hint of festive music, it constantly puts me in a better mood. And being someone who has Spotify on at every possible point in their life, I found it only plausible to create my very own Christmas Spotify playlist!

Christmas music to me is all about the classics. Although I might listen to the occasional Michael Buble Christmas song or Coldplay's Christmas Lights (which made it's way onto my playlist), there's something significantly more magical and festive to me about those older songs; in fact, pretty much every song, bar Coldplay's, was released before I was born (don't quote me on that)! I think it's because growing up these were always the songs playing in the background of our house; the songs that we've had playing as we open presents every Christmas morning - it's just not Christmas without them!

Plans In The Run-Up To Christmas

With just under a week to go until Christmas, it's safe to say that almost everyone is well and truly in the Christmassy mood...well, except for all those Grinches out there!

And as the sunlight is having some trouble making an appearance, hence why I've been unable to take some decent photos which I feel I can show you, I thought that I would instead talk to you about my plans in the lead-up to Christmas! I would also love to know what you have planned for this next week!

The Best Games To Play With Your Family On Christmas Day

It's fair to say that during the festive season, I love a good game. Whether it be a card game, board game, trivia game, I don't care; there's something special about being together with the whole family and gathering to play a fun little game. But in particular, the one day that we seemingly play more games than any other is Christmas day, and they always seem to be games that we only ever pull out on the day itself!

So I've compiled a mini list of some of my favourite family Christmas day games. Therefore if you're on the lookout for some fun ideas for the 25th of December, look no further!

The Christmas Jumper | Rudolph Jumper From George At ASDA

Until recently, or should I say last year, I'd never owned a Christmas jumper. I know, disgraceful! But since my first jumper purchase, all I've wanted is more! There are so many cute styles on offer now (check out my Christmas jumper post here), but I've really been holding off purchasing another one as I can really only wear it for one month of a year. With that said, it probably wouldn't be odd to see me in a Christmas jumper in May...

Top Red Lip Picks!

Christmas. The season well and truly made for that bold red lip. And of course I'm one of those girls you'll find walking down the street rocking that classic red lip. Whilst I'll wear red lipstick at practically any point of the year, give or take a few days in December and it's by far my go-to choice! Especially if you're wearing quite a dark outfit, a red lip can seriously help spruce your entire look, and it makes a statement. I'm not afraid when it comes to my lips, I'll happily make a statement.

Murray Christmas! | Decorating The Tree

It's pretty safe for me to say that other than Christmas Day itself, one of my absolute favourite days of the year is the day we bring down all of the decorations and finally put up my beloved Christmas tree! To me it signifies that Christmas is well and truly under way; I can begin to feel festive and get into that Christmassy mood. Although I love all the decorations placed around our home, the tree will always have a special place in my heart...so special I've gone to the trouble of naming it! Everyone, meet Murray, Murray Christmas!

Festive Nail Polishes Picks That Aren't All Red!

Along with Christmas within the beauty world comes festive nails! Whilst the vast majority of people opt for a classic Christmassy red, there are so many other options out there for our consideration. So although I don't have the largest nail polish collection going (I'm not really one to paint my nails often), I had a little rummage around and found some choices which I thought would be perfect for the festive season; some a little different from your usual Christmassy colours.

What's In My Christmas Party Clutch?

Christmas party season is well and truly here! I'm sure if you haven't been out celebrating yet, you're sure to have something lined up. And if not, then New Year's just around the corner. I'll be the first one to admit that you're much more likely to find me snuggled up in my house watching YouTube videos or a movie, but those nights that I do end up venturing out with my friends (or even family), these are the essentials that have made in into my Christmas party clutch!

And fyi, I do not take a blusher out with the intention of using it as a blusher. I'd need an entire makeup bag otherwise...

How Christmas Changes As You Get Older!

I'm not old. As much as I like to say I am, I'm 22. I'm really not old. But as I've gotten older, things have definitely changed. And Christmas is one of those things I've noticed drastic changes in over recent years.

As a kid, I think it's fair to say that many of us are a little selfish, thinking of all the toys we'll receive on the big day, possibly for months in advance. I'm not afraid to admit that I was selfish in a way; I was a kid. I would spend an entire day flicking through the Argos catalogue and noting down all the presents I wanted that year...I'm not alone, I've heard of many others doing this too!

But as I've grown (and I'm sure for many of you too), I've begun to realise what Christmas is really about. Yes it's lovely to receive gifts, it's also lovely to give gifts; in fact I love shopping for gifts so as the individual I'm shopping for isn't as I would say "awkward". And on another note, one of my favourite days of the year is the day we put up our Christmas tree. But as corny as it may sound, I started to realise that Christmas is really about family and spending time with those who you truly care about. Christmas is really that one and only time of the year that I get to see my entire family all at once; where we all come together for food, games and just general festive chats, and I treasure all of that - I know, you want me to stop with all the cheesy slop...

But just remember that regardless of your age, Christmas isn't all about the gifts you receive, it's about the memories that you make. Horrible as it may sound, you never know when your last Christmas with anyone will be, so cherish every moment.

I've also filmed the Christmas Tag on my YouTube channel, talking about all things festive!

What is Christmas all about for you? Has it changed since you were younger?

It's A Disney Christmas! | Timon & Pumbaa

As a Disney fan, there was always one thing missing at Christmas time. That one thing happens to be Christmas ornaments. Without fail we have the tree and house decked top to bottom with my favourite decorations and twinkly lights, but this year it's safe to say I have a new favourite.

During my trip to Walt Disney World earlier this year, I made it a mission to pick out some new Christmas decorations for the tree. I fell in love with the wide array of princess shoe decorations on sale, and honestly let's not get me started on the Disney princess ornaments with the beautiful poofy dresses. And although I was always drawn in by these two styles of tree ornaments, stopping to have a look everytime I walked past, I couldn't quite justify spending over $22 for a single decoration.

And Just Like That, Autumn Was Over | Instagram Roundup

Well there we go, another Autumn is over, and we've now made it into the most festive period of the year - should I be happy about that, or sad that this year has just gone insanely fast?

Regardless, I've had quite an enjoyable and different Autumn to any other that I've experienced before, and just like I always seem to do now, large parts of my life are now documented through my Instagram account! I had a little flick through my page and it was clear to see a few standout events for me throughout this season; ones that saw me acting like a right ol' child and others that show just how much I've had to grow up in recent months. Quite contradictory really.

Add a Bit of Sparkle to Your Makeup This Christmas! | L'Oreal Infallible 24hr Eyeshadow Review

Christmas is coming! Christmas is coming! And other than pulling out that classic red lipstick, another thing that I like to do to spice up my makeup is to add a little extra sparkle here and there. Whilst I'm usually all about the gold eyeshadows as Christmas rolls around, recently I've been well and truly obsessed with Iced Latte, a shimmery champagne shade from the Infallible 24hr range by L'Oreal. 22 Things I've Learnt In 22 Years

Yes, it did happen over a week ago now, but I am now at that stage in my life where I can sing Taylor Swift's "22" with actual relevance to my life. I know, pretty amazing right?!

Saying that, over these last 22 years, whilst I may have made many mistakes, I've also accomplished quite a lot, and through both my failures and successes I would say I've learnt a fair amount in my life...about life. And so why not share with you a random assortment of 22 things that I've learnt over the years. Here goes!

Chocolate or Beauty? | Advent Calendars

It's December! I know, where has this year gone!? Trees are now popping up here, there and everywhere, Christmas music is seemingly played at every possible opportunity and there's basically just festive cheer all around.

Being young at heart however, the one thing I always look forward to as the final month of the year rolls around, is for the day to come when I can finally pull out my Advent Calendar and begin the countdown to Christmas! Whilst I was uhming and ahhing for a ridiculous amount of time as to whether a beauty advent calendar would be better suited towards me this year (being the insane beauty hoarder I am), I eventually decided against it. There personally wasn't one calendar I could see where I would truly enjoy every product and so couldn't quite justify spending the high price tag that usually accompanies these beauties.

A Struggling Graduate | The Troubles of Finding a Graduate Job

As a now recently qualified university graduate, I wouldn't blame you for thinking I'd be on top of the world right now. But in fact, you'd be completely wrong. Attending my graduation a few weeks back was both a blessing and a curse; a blessing for the fact that I could celebrate finishing years of studying, exams, and lets not get started on the dreaded dissertation, but a curse in a large way, as seeing many of my fellow graduates and friends succeed in their post-university life can be quite discouraging. Discouraging as over six months since finishing my last exam, I'm still out of a full-time job.

Disney World 2016 in a Nutshell

As some of you may be aware if you follow me on any of my social media accounts, or if you're up to date with my new YouTube videos, I recently went to Walt Disney World in Florida for an incredible two week holiday!

Although I'm fortunate to have been to the most magical place on earth a fair few times prior, this trip was a completely different experience, and I think it's safe to say that I had the time of my life! Firstly, this was my first big holiday without my parents; instead going with my sister and a bunch of our closest friends...basically we had the freedom to do whatever the hell we wanted! Whilst I had also previously vlogged my holiday last year, this was also the first time that I'd ever vlogged within Disney and let me tell you...I got a lot of footage! So much so that I have 5 vlogs up on my YouTube channel, and I'm only on the second day!!

High End Lip Products | Top 3

I'm a lip product junkie. There, I said it. I own probably far too many than is plausible for any female at this point, but as we all probably know, I'm not going to stop buying them.

One thing that I am lacking however is a large quantity of higher end lip products (or high end makeup at all). I personally think for the most part that high street can be just as good or better than their high end counterparts, so in most cases I opt for that instead. Because of this, when I do decide to invest in a slightly more expensive makeup product, I research, research, research! And whilst my high end lip collection isn't massively extensive, I have found a fair few products which I would highly recommend everyone to try out!

The Body Shop Makeup Review

Until recently, I'd never tried a single makeup product from The Body Shop. In fact, I'd never even thought about trying a single product. But after hearing some positive things, in particular about their bb cream, I decided that now was the time to try.

With the intention of only picking up the bb cream, their 3 for 2 and 20% off of the remaining price deal had me purchasing more than I came in for. The All-In-One BB Cream retails for £12, the Instaglow CC Cream retails for £14 and the Honey Bronze Highlighting Dome for £8. With all of the offers combined, I managed to spend just £22 for all three products.

All in all, I wouldn't say that these products completely blew me away. For the most part, I don't really believe they do exactly what they say on the tin, which at the end of the day is what I would like from a beauty product. But I do actually really like them, and here's why.

Walt Disney World Wishlist

You may or may not know, but towards the very end of this summer, I'll be jetting off to the fabulous Walt Disney World for two weeks. Being in the happiest place on earth, it's obvious that I will want to buy plenty of things to remember my amazing holiday and I've already started thinking of exactly what I will want to buy. Although there will probably be many other things that I'll pick up whilst I'm there, (let's be honest, there will be), some particular items have really stood out to me after watching far too many Disney World hauls that I feel I definitely need in my life!

When To Turn Down Sponsored Posts

Once you've been blogging for a little while, the possibility of companies coming along to offer collaborations or sponsorships (be that through paid posts or free products) evidently becomes more likely. Although it should never be the main purpose of blogging, especially as it takes a considerable amount of time for your blog to reach the point of getting these offers, the first few emails you receive from companies are always exciting, as it's nice to realise you've been recognised within this community. I can say for myself that the first email I received regarding a sponsored post excited me immensely, and evidently I jumped on board straight away. But I really wish I didn't now.

Zoella Beauty Sweet Inspirations Review

When I heard that Zoella was going to be coming out with another range for her beauty line, I sure knew that I had to buy it. From the moment that I first saw the packaging in her MoreZoella video, it was instant love. It just screams me. My collection of Zoella Beauty products in relatively large; trying bits and pieces from each collection as it comes out. To this day I have never been disappointed in a single item from any of the previous ranges and I can safely say that after this recent purchase I'm still not disappointed in a one single product.

The excitement I had when my products arrived was a little too much...I mean no person should really get that excited about having bath salts delivered, right? Wrong! You'll be able to see my complete first impressions on the YouTube video I filmed (check the bottom of this post), but these products are just unbelievably pretty and my excitement for the bath salts is totally understandable. Just have a little look for yourself!

Instagram Roundup | May

I love Instagram and this year in particular have been more active on it than ever. I document so much of my life on the platform and love that I can look back over the past few moths or even years to see the things that I got up to. So each month I've now decided to so a monthly Instagram roundup to pinpoint the highlights of my month, as well as to share it with anyone who does not follow me on Instagram either!

This month has been very eventful for me; not in the sense that I've travelled places and seen things, but in the sense that this month has led to drastic changes in my life.

Loyalty To Dove

When I think of anything beauty related, in general I have no loyalty to any brands in terms of a specific product. I love trying out different foundations, the amount of lip products I have is indeed overflowing, and I get far too excited when buying new concealers! I'm not one for brand loyalty in most cases, beauty or not. But my one exception to that is Dove.

Where To Invest & Where To Save With Blogging

Blogging. It's one of those things that at no matter what stage you're at or how long you've been doing it for, there's more than likely so many areas that you wish you could invest in to better different aspects of your blog. Whilst investing money into your blog can certainly help to improve these areas, I know of many great blogs which have gotten by with barely shifting a penny, and so it may not be essential for everyone.

Most importantly, I personally feel that if you're a newbie into the blogging world or are perhaps considering the possibility of it right now, don't feel the need to invest financially at an instant. Blogging is something that takes up a considerable amount of time and because of that simple factor alone I see many people giving it up after a few months. The number of abandoned blogs on the Internet is probably extortionate! So just a personal recommendation, don't invest in something that you're not certain you'll love further down the line, and don't feel the need to invest at any point if you really don't want to - you can still create a successful blog without any financial investment.

After some time, I eventually managed to grab three of them last month and have so had plenty of time to test them out and give you my absolutely honest review.

If you've been a reader of my blog for some time, you may have noticed how dormant I've been around here recently. Life caught up with me with an over-importance set upon university and coursework, and then working every weekend doesn't help too. But I can now officially say that I'm back, and this time hopefully it'll be a permanent thing. You may also be able to see two big changes with my blog; the name and layout!
