7 Splurgy Products Perfect For That Makeup Junkie

Tartelette in Bloom Clay Palette (£33) | Too Faced French Kisses Melted Liquid Lipsticks (£21) | Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Colour-Coded Eyeshadow Palette in The Vintage Vamp (£38) | Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette (£59) | Laura Mercier Going Glam Palette (£29.75) | Ted Baker Elden Scallop Edge Small Wash Bag (£27) | Zoeva Rose Golden Brush Set (£65)

As a fan of the occasional lipstick and eyeshadow...heck who are we kidding?! As a fan of virtually every lipstick and eyeshadow ever made, I feel as though I have a pretty good idea as to some great gifts for the makeup obsessed woman, or man. I decided to pick out some slightly splurgy makeup gifts which if you're willing to spend a little extra, will surely be a hit for that special person.

Eyeshadow palettes are always a great option. So many brands such as Urban Decay and Marc Jacobs create such beautiful palettes with absolutely gorgeous shades. However I decided to showcase two palettes which I am also currently lusting over. As an owner of the Tartelette palette, I can't begin to recommend Tarte eyeshadow palettes enough, but with that said, my exclusively matte palette has left me yearning for shimmery shades. Therefore I introduce you the the Tartelette in Bloom palette; the perfect mixture of mattes and shimmers. And then comes in the Charlotte Tilbury palette. Yes it comes at a significantly higher price point with significantly fewer shades, but just look at them. Feast your eyes on that beauty. It would certainly be a makeup bag staple.

Gifts sets are also a good go-to. The Laura Mercier set features some gorgeous blushes and eyeshadows, as well as a lipgloss; a great multi-use gift set. Whereas the Too Faced Melted Lipstick gift set is that perfect choice for lip junkies. The Melted Liquid Lipsticks in my personal opinion are incredible, so even if you're wanting to treat yourself, you won't regret it!

And the hourglass palette needs it's own paragraph, because let's face it, it is one of the most beautiful makeup items to ever make an appearance on this earth. And no, I'm not overreacting! I think it's fair to say that if they don't own it, pretty much every beauty blogger spends a stupid amount of time lusting over the beauty of the Ambient Lighting palette. However for most of us, it seems as though the ridiculously high price tag is putting us off!

But if you don't want to stick with makeup, maybe look into gifting either brushes or even easier, a makeup bag. Zoeva brushes will always be a big hit. And although it may seem like a bit of an investment for brushes, I can truly say that the quality of these brushes is impeccable. And makeup bags. Well finding makeup bags is a walk in the park. So many shops now sell such a wide range that you'll definitely be able to find something to suit that one person. And don't want to use it as a makeup bag? Use it as a small wash bag or pencil case! With that said, I decided to pick out this Ted Baker makeup bag. Ted Baker is again one of those brands that I feel many of us bloggers lust after, so this would be sure to take top spot in our ever growing makeup bag collections.

What gifts are you buying for that makeup obsessed friend?

Lots of Love
